As he Promised

Sometimes, it seems that whenever God promises us something, everything in the world tries to hold us back from it. We may even start to doubt if what we heard was God or not.  Often it appears like we are getting further away from our goal or that God has let us down. I remember speaking to a friend this past week and we were talking about how thankful we were that God didn’t operate like a man. The fact that God KEEPS his promises and they are not dependent on our emotions, feelings, or how it may look like in the now.

God is not a promise breaker. (This may not be correct grammar but oh well, lol). But it is the truth. God isn’t a fickle person who decides that we are no longer worthy of things he promises us. His word is true and steadfast and cannot be returned void.

So why do we worry? Why do we lose sight of God’s word and forget how far he has brought us? I know for myself I must look back and see all that he has brought me from and have that “why am I even tripping on this” kind of moment.  These moments seem to be happening often for me, but I am thankful that I can quickly look back on my life and see that not only has God been present, but he has shifted things to work on my behalf.

I want to remind everyone reading this that God is ALWAYS faithful, we just have to get to the place where we start craving what Gods version of that looks like. We must start walking like we know who our father is, and how he operates. Do not let the world try to convince you that this problem or worry is TOO big or that God is suddenly done with you.

In an Instant, God can give you everything that he has promised, or we may have to go through a journey to get it. Regardless, hold tight, worry less, and go be a light. Let God handle the rest.
