MY STORY:
As much as we would like our stories to be simple it seems
to be the complicated ones that are used to touch the most people. My story has
been far from perfect, but the God that I serve is.
I am a 30 year old youth mentor, prison teacher, CASA, entrepreneur, and community advocate. I speak up for the people who have been muted. My entire life is
dedicated to showing people that they have a second chance, that regardless of
their background they do not have to fall victim to it. If you are a teen who
made some wrong choices, if you are in prison, or if you simply need to get
back on your God track, this blog is for you.
You see, We all have a choice. We can choose to use that
story to go forward or use it as an excuse to fall back. I choose to use my
story to walk out the purpose of my life, and I pray that you do the same. I
pray that you dig deep down in the pit of your soul and find the strength to continue
and keep pushing forward, I pray that you are a relentless warrior.
Every Story Matters
Every Story Matters
Everyday in my community I have conversations with people from all different walks of life. I know first hand how important it is that we share our story to inspire others. My goal is to speak up and provide space for the people who have been muted. My entire life is dedicated to showing people that they have a second chance, that regardless of their background they do not have to fall victim to it. The heart behind "Every story matters" is to use that background to serve a purpose and change someone else's life.
So lets talk, no topic is off limits, if you have overcome or are overcoming I want to hear from you! If you want to share your story, and encourage others..its time to speak out!
Our stories are far from perfect, but we serve a God who is.
SO lets take our mic off mute! Each week I’ll be featuring a different person from your community committed to having victory over their story and helping you do the same. 💕
