In a world with so much
anger, hurt, sadness, arguments, depression, and division it's easy to find
yourself picking a side to be on. Yes, a lot of the things we are
fighting for are needed and important but do not lose sight of who you are and
what God has called you to do. You can whole heartily represent a cause and
share a belief but still be different at the same time.
When was the last time
you sat back and asked yourself what you wanted to do with your life? Not what
you have to do, but what you want to do? Even God cares about the desires of
our hearts so who are we to ignore our purpose? Who are we to say we must be
one thing or that we have to fall in line with a certain stereotype that may be
put on us for whatever reason. A person who walks in purpose and calling
do not get distracted by how they should feel or react. They take chances and
move forward with confidence because they know that their steps are ordered.
This week, it's time
to be a breath of fresh air. For yourself or for someone else. Be that well
needed change that someone can look up to. Choose to find joy during sadness,
choose to laugh when you really feel like crying, choose to believe that no
matter what it looks like God is working it all out, and choose to be light in
a world that is filled with so much darkness.
