The Real Reel

Remember when TV. Was actually entertaining? Back when we had Fresh Prince, Martin, and The Cosby Show?

Remember when you used to actually have talent to be well known? Before YouTube  stars, and  Instagram fame.  When you had to sell CD’S out of your trunk, and people only heard about you through word of mouth. When you would have to scramble your way to the top because there was no American idol or The Voice.

Remember when people would actually care about the image they put off? When having standards were popular. When being 16 and Pregnant didn’t land you a starring role on MTV. When we had good role models and examples of how to be a woman. Before it was cool to be a “Bad Girl”. Back when women strived to have careers and not just be “ Basketball Wives”.

Remember when you actually had to find love the old fashioned way? Before The Bachelor, Match.com, or Plenty of Fish.

Remember when reality TV and social media weren't everything. ?

There isn’t anything wrong with using technology and the change of times to move forward as people. In fact, if used correctly it can be a HUGE blessing. We just have to make sure we are promoting things that bring glory to God, that we are shinning the light on REAL situations, and not creating this false reality that is sending people to hell, instead of saving them.  God is REALITY.  Lets make him famous instead.
