Stay Afloat

I used to HATE swimming in the deep end.

I would cling to the wall  the entire time making sure that if I went under I would have something to cling to. Eventually I learned that if I really wanted to learn how to swim, I would have to let go of the wall and trust that the same way I swam in the shallow end would be enough to sustain me in the deep end. When you swim, your feet don't ever touch the bottom, but its different when you KNOW that you can.

"When we are in the deep end, we must learn to depend"

That's how it is in life sometimes. If we are in a season of transition and we seem to lose the footing under us we have to trust that the same way God is there for us when everything is Good is the same way he will be there when times are a little rocky. There is no point in being in the if pool if you are too fearful to really swim. Just like there is no point in living if you won't ever let go and truly live. Yes you may be living and breathing even if you live a "safe" life, but how much greater you could be if you take a true leap of faith. Many people die without ever reaching their full potential because they always need to have something or someone to hold onto.

Allow God to be your flotation device. Jump into the deep end being fully aware that even though you can not touch the bottom without going under, God will keep you afloat. He is your LIFESAVER in every situation.

No More simply existing. God has given you another breath, not to drown you, but to allow you to rely on him, and dive in.

Life is waiting for YOU.
