Recently, my pastor told me "you have to get to the point,where you are tired of being passive and asking for things. Eventually,you have to take your blessings." Now at first the thought of me "taking " anything just didn't seem right. Especially a blessing. For as long as I can remember we have always prayed to get blessings,asking god for this and that, And while nothing is wrong with asking, we have to get into a position of receiving. What I realized is, we are asking as if we don't already have the authority. What god has for us, is for us! Point,blank period. We don't ask for things that Are already ours. Would you ask to borrow money from yourself? Would you ask to use your own car,or eat your own food? No, because it's YOURS. God wants us to get to that place where we know what he has for us. Instead of asking,we need to take what he has given us. What Jesus died on the cross for. We take our healing, we tAke our finances, we take our blessings.
Do you have a dream? Is there something you have been believing GOd for? Do you have a vision from God? Well today, I say TAKE what is yours! Stop making excuses, stop tryna make room, take what is yours right now. Declare that from this moment forward you are going to "act like you want it" !
